The new Cunettone plant inaugurated
On Saturday November 25th the new plant in Cunettone di Salò was inaugurated. With an investment of 28 million euros, the production capacity has been doubled: from 200 to 400 million bottles a year. After having wait for ten years with tenacity, the new Tavina Spa plant was created with the introduction of technologically advanced machineries and an automated warehouse for the storage of the finished products, which allow full compliance with quality standards regulations and safety of the finished product together with a more suitable management of the loading operations. The new plant is equipped with two new pet (plastic) bottling lines with a production capacity of 31,000 bottles / hour supported by a vertical automatic warehouse with a capacity of 11,000 pallet places and a bottling line for glass bottles with a production capacity of 45,000 bottles / hour.
Were attending at the event with the cut of the ribbon the Regional Councilor for Economic Development Mauro Parolini, the President of the “Associazione Industriale Brescia” Giuseppe Pasini, the President of “Confindustria Lombardia” Marco Bonometti, the Mayor of Salò Gianpiero Cipani and other numerous authorities, together with the vertexes and employees of the company founded half a century ago by Cavalier Amos Tonoli.
Stefano Fontana, son of Armando, general manager of Tavina, has thanked all the employees of the company: «We are a big family that in these 50 years has achieved great successes. Now we look with optimism to the future ».
