Tavina natural mineral water flows pure from the ancient glacial basin of the Adamello and comes to the natural park of Alto Garda, situated in the Pre-Alps.

Springs are protected as they are in an unspoiled territory that constitutes a heritage for the whole community and carefully controlled by the company. Climate studies and periodic surveys provide information on the “health” of the territory, checking the environmental and ecological conditions of the aquifers that make Tavina water naturally pure. The purity of water at the source is then kept until bottling, with carefully sealed packaging for the safety of the consumer.

WHY NATURAL MINERAL WATER?

Tavina is pure at its origin, has a constant content of mineral salts and oligo-elements taken in its underground path, thus acquiring also beneficial properties, without the need for purification treatments.

Tavina is a natural mineral water with a low fixed residue. The balanced quantity of minerals effectively counteracts muscle fatigue and helps supplement the daily requirement of important elements such as magnesium, calcium, fluorine, potassium, bicarbonate, silica. Furthermore, Tavina water stimulates diuresis by purifying the body of nitrogen waste.

TAVINA: A LOW-SODIUM MINERAL WATER

Tavina water is particularly suitable for low-sodium diets: it contains less than 0.002%. But why avoid sodium? What are the pros and cons?

Sodium is a mineral present in water and many foods, but in excessive amounts it can lead to hypertension and water retention.

Sodium is mainly taken from salt (sodium chloride), added to preserve food and to give more flavour to it. An adult should take a daily maximum amount of 4-6 grams of salt, while an excessive intake can cause digestive disorders and cardiac fatigue.
